In Germany, a young Jewish boy had great love and admiration for his father. He eagerly followed as his Dad centered their life around the Jewish faith. When the boy became a teen, the family moved to another German city where the leading business men were Lutherans. The Dad announced they were giving up their Jewish faith and joining the Lutherans in order to “help his business.” The son became intensely bitter. As an adult in his most famous book, “Das Kapital” he described all religion as the “opiate of the people.” His name, Karl Marx.
Be a role model through all your children’s stages: (The Images Of Father)
Four years of age – My Daddy can do anything Eight years of age – My Dad knows a whole lot!
Twelve years of age – Dad doesn’t really know quite everything
Fourteen years of age – Naturally, Dad doesn’t know that either
Eighteen years of age – The old man? He’s way out of date
Twenty five years of age – Well, he might know a little about it
Thirty five years of age – Before we decide, let’s get Dad’s opinion
Sixty years of age – Wonder what Dad would have thought about it?
Sixty five years of age – Wish I could talk it over with Dad once more

IV. Strong commit-“mint” to your church makes a difference

When George McCluskey married and started a family, he decided to invest one hour a day in prayer, because he wanted his kids to follow Christ. After a time, he expanded his prayers to include his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
His two daughters committed their lives to Christ and married men who went into full time ministry. The two couples produced four girls and one boy. Each of the girls married a minister and the boy became a pastor.
The first two boys, cousins, born to this new generation graduated from high school together and decided to become roommates in the same college. During their sophomore year, one boy decided to enter the ministry. The other chose to pursue his interest in psychology.
He earned his doctorate and wrote books for parents that became bestsellers. He started a radio program heard on more than a thousand stations each day. the man’s name – James Dobson.
All of this began because of one man’s prayers for his family.
NOTE: Father and children at Judgment Seat of Christ. What shall it profit a father, if he gain the whole world and lose his own children? What in this life can a father give in exchange for the souls of his children?
